Mission: 
Vox Church is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Coordinator to ensure issues are solved, coordinate with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), manage church-wide IT inventory. This role also involves leading improvement projects to enhance our technological infrastructure in alignment with the church’s mission and growth objectives. 
 
Outcomes: 
  • User Support and Training: Provide effective support for end-users, ensuring problems are solved quickly and effectively. Provide basic IT training to staff as needed, particularly in new systems or technologies. 
  • MSP and Vendor Relationship Management: Ensure the MSP delivers optimal IT services. Monitor service performance, address issues, and ensure contractual obligations are met. 
  • Project Leadership: Lead IT-related improvement projects, from initial planning to implementation, ensuring projects align with the ministry’s objectives and are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records of IT systems, procedures, and policies. Analyze MSP reports and inventory documentation to determine potential improvements.

  • Customer Service: Enjoys helping others. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on assisting and educating users. Patient and effective in communicating technical information to non-technical users. 
  • Vendor Management: Experience in managing external IT service providers, ensuring high-quality performance and accountability. 
  • Project Management: Ability to lead IT improvement initiatives, manage timelines, and coordinate with various departments. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical staff. 
  • Problem-Solving: Capable of troubleshooting and resolving IT service performance and system usage issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong time management skills, able to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. 
  • Required Technical Proficiency: Have IT helpdesk experience and are experienced with MacOS, iPadOS, Windows, and Microsoft 365 applications. 
  • Preferred Technical Proficiency: MDMs (Mosyle/Intune), Apple Business Manager, printers, and networking equipment (Meraki). 
 
Reports to: Operations Pastor 
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications. 
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday at the Branford office, with occasional weekend and evening work and on-site support at other campuses as required.
